Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate working Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and food service management, with the ability to create innovative menus that delight our guests. The Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the kitchen's efficiency while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design seasonal menus that reflect current food trends while considering guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Assist in bartending duties when required, showcasing knowledge of beverage pairings that complement menu offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or fine dining setting is essential.
  • Strong skills in menu planning and food preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of hospitality best practices and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with food service management principles is preferred.
