Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Server/Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Bartending skills helpful along with knowledge of wine, bourbons and liquor.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Provide outstanding guest relations by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Train and mentor new servers on menu knowledge, service standards, and cash handling procedures.
- Oversee cash register operations, including accurate cash handling and processing transactions using POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring compliance with food handling safety standards.
- Monitor dining room activities to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient service flow.
- Assist in creating a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication among staff.
Skills
- Proficient in cash handling, including experience with cash registers and POS systems.
- Strong culinary knowledge to effectively communicate menu items and specials to guests.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling regulations.
