Job Summary
The College of Health and Human Services at Governors State University seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach BSW and MSW Foundation Level courses, Field Practicum, and Integrative Seminars.
Main Responsibilities
As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for:
- Having extensive practice experience in the assigned teaching area;
- Participating in all related curricular meetings as needed;

About the Role
Adjunct faculty members are hired on a course basis each term and are temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. They are not part of the faculty bargaining unit and do not participate in the Faculty Senate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work;
- Minimum two years Post MSW Practice Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Experience of one year minimum.
