Interim Director of Health and Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as Interim Health Director. As a key member of the Family Development Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the Nutrition, Safety, Health, and Dental components of our grants and licensing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective health and safety protocols to protect the well-being of our clients.
• Supervise staff working with families with young children, ensuring the highest level of quality and care.
• Collaborate with the center's team to provide seamless services to our families.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and best practices in the field of health and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with coursework equivalent to a major (minimum of 30 semester hours) in nursing or a health-related field.
• Three years of full-time work experience supervising staff working with families with young children.
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory position.
• Successful job history with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Background in working with children, families, and low-income groups.
• Knowledge of nutrition and basic food service operations.
