What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety and Health Officer position at GovGig?
The project (in a nutshell) entails demolishing the building down to stud wall and renovating the full interior to meet new sustainability requirements. We'll also be replacing the roof, RTUs, chiller, repairing EFIS and stairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a strong and personal commitment to safety
- Adheres to the standards and principles of the Safety Professional Code of Conduct
- Maintains all recordkeeping and documents HSE processes
- Acts as a change agent by working to engage project members of our safety culture
- Develop training programs applicable to the work performed
- Develops systems for prevention
- Assist Project Management team in developing site-specific HSE programs
Education/Experience:
- CHST, OHST with 4 years experience or;
- ASP/CSP/CIH/REP with 2 years experience or;
- Bachelor or Masters and 3 years
- Qualifies at all levels below 5 SSHO on military contracts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
