Parkside Chemists (aka Govind Pharm) is a rapidly growing specialty pharmacy, specializing in Dermatology, located in Brooklyn. Our goal is to exceed the needs of our patients and customers by providing efficient, caring, professional and cost-effective pharmaceutical services. We are looking for a self-motivated, efficient, responsible multi-tasker to join our team.
We are hiring a Delivery Dispatcher & Clerk with experience in routing and dispatching delivery items while also managing the front office of the pharmacy. The Delivery Coordinator aspect will process all outgoing orders, charge client credit cards, create routes for driver and dispatch drivers to deliver medications to patients throughout the Tri-State area. The Clerk aspect will be the first point of contact for patients and must have a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Hours are weekdays 10am - 7pm.
DELIVERY DISPATCHING Duties
Process deliveries given by pharmacists
Prepare, manage and confirm receipt of patient orders
Collect payment through various payment methods through point of sale
Daily register duties
Create delivery routes using delivery routing software
Assign specific delivery methods (In-house delivery person, RxToGo, Fedex, USPS)
Communicate with delivery associates to ensure that drivers are adequately prepared for dispatch
Dispatch drivers to deliver medications to patients
Reroute drivers en route as needed
Updating patient profiles, address, private house etc.
Collect / save proof of deliveries
CLERK Duties
Answering phones then taking messages or directing callers to Ring Central system or appropriate person.
Greeting walk-in customers picking up medications
Receiving customer service requests and either resolving them or passing them on to the correct department
Conduct pharmacy transactions such as but not limited to processing sales, operating point of sale and / or cashier responsibilities
Facilitate Over-The-Counter program while maintaining cleanliness of front retail store, reordering & restocking inventory
Requirement
2 or more years of experience routing, coordinating and dispatching deliveries
Upbeat personality and ability to work well with others on the team
Great communication skills with team and patients
Knowledge of local roads and highways
Computer literacy
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Previous pharmacy experience preferred
