The ideal candidate has experience in ERP implementations or practical usage of ERP software through real business experience. They would enjoy the challenge of working through complex business scenarios and the nurturing aspect of a long-term relationship with dedicated customers with the CPA Industry.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborates with sales team to evaluate client needs, define requirements and solutions that support key business processes.
- Primary daily ERP implementation activities include requirements gathering, workflow analysis, pre-sales demo, system design, general consulting, project management. Leads implementation team and participates in setup, configuration, data mapping/conversion and validation, custom report development, testing, training, and support.
- Leads process engineering and solution design.
- Contributes to the overall success of projects. Ensure projects delivered fit the client’s business requirements and needs, within budget and on-time.
- Grow strong client relationships throughout organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles, CRM, Client Management, Employee Management, Workflow/TaskFlow Management, Timers/Time Entry, WIP Processing, WIP Write Up/Write Down, General Ledger Impacts, CPA Firm Client Invoice Processing, and CPA Firm Analytics.
- Ability to assess and lead plans for complex projects independently and as part of a team.
- Expertise in areas of business operations within CPA Industry.
- Up to 15% overnight travel to client’s job site for implementations.
- Strong understanding of client business process and how it translates to software design and solutions.
- People focused leader with the ability to set positive example for other members of the team.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of ERP consulting and industry experience or experience going through multiple ERP implementations.
- A solid predictor of success includes experience working with ERP systems in the role of a Firm Administrator or Controller for a CPA firm or related professional services firm.
- Expertise and experience in the following areas: Finance/Accounting, Project Management and taskflow, and reporting and analytics.
- Strong operational, business process and accounting experience is required as relates to ERP solutions.
- Excellent understanding of business practices as related for any of the following: Accounting (AR, AP, GL, Banking), CRM (Leads, Opportunity, Proposal, Forecasting), Project/Task Management, Billing.
- Strong understanding of ERP data structures and processes.
- Strong understanding of how ERP and external systems integrate together.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Results-oriented with self-confidence, perseverance, and a high sense of urgency.
