About the Role
Govplace is searching for an GWAC Program Manager to deliver upon our strategic and operational approach to the use of contract vehicles to maximize growth. The ideal candidate will be able to comprehend and understand IT and how it can solve customer mission problems. The day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring program compliance, on time completion of required internal and program reporting, opportunity distribution, educating and assisting departments including sales, contracts, proposals, pre-sales, project managers and management, on the program. Govplace currently holds a robust portfolio of GWACs, Schedules and IDIQs. The successful candidate should be an expert at gathering and maintaining the appropriate market research, competitive intelligence, industry knowledge and contract knowledge to effectively collaborate and advise Govplace teams. The candidate should be actively engaged with industry and government working groups and have current relationships with contract vehicle owners. The GWAC Program Manager must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work as a team player, and keep pace with a high-volume workload. ( Remote work is accepted for this position.)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the overall Govplace contract vehicle offerings to ensure a complete and accurate representation across all disciplines of technology and services.
- Perform independent contract risk analysis, identifying implications and company exposure on terms and conditions, deliverables, schedule delays, and other risks.
- Independently review and negotiate nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontractor agreements.
- Review solicitations and contract actions for contractual, compliance, business and financial issues.
- Assist with contract kick-off meetings between internal functional groups (i.e. PM, Finance, Contracts, etc.) and provide oversight and resolve issues that may arise during kick off meetings and mitigate risks.
- Responsible for our IDIQ contracts, our product and services contracts in support of our federal government customer
- Monitor quality of service delivery on task orders and ensure maximum customer satisfaction is obtained, as quantified by CPAR ratings by the government
- Create and maintain required program level reporting on GWAC’s, such as monthly status reports
- Be the subject matter expert for the assigned programs, including full knowledge of program details
- Design, develop and execute strategic program plans for each assigned program
- Build and develop strong customer relationships
- Generate new business relationships and opportunities in the federal space
- Oversight of bid response and customer requirements for follow-on or task order work
- Interface with government program office
- Structure partnerships in order to facilitate the success of assigned programs
- Delegate internal responsibilities in response to task order requirements
- Educate sales team regarding the details of each program and compliance of requirements
- Coordinate all customer response and follow through based on requirements (e.g. oversee proper reporting for each program)
- Specific knowledge of GSA, NASA SEWP or NIH NITAAC is required
- Proactively self-assess efficiency and accuracy of work being performed and recommend modifications to systems and procedures in an effort to achieve continuous improvement
- Other duties and / or projects as assigned
