Job Description :
The State of New York – Department of Public Services is seeking a Lead .NET Developer to assist with the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of multiple .NET applications, including 753 Project, Pipeline Audit Safety (PAS), Water Master (WMast), Document and Matter Management (DMM), Power To Choose (PTC), and Regulatory Calculator. The role involves system upgrades, performance optimization, web API development, and mentoring development teams.
- 1. Design and modify system functionality as per change requests using .NET C#, SQL Server, Oracle, and FileNet. (5 years)
2. Develop RESTful Web APIs to support integrations and improve system performance. (5 years)
3. Enhance applications using MVC and Entity Framework, ensuring security and best practices. (5 years)
4. Identify and resolve performance issues in existing web applications. (5 years)
5. Provide mentorship to the development team to enhance code quality and best practices. (5 years)
6. Assist in developing software / hardware requirements for Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments. (5 years)
7. Support Agile / Scrum development processes and participate in sprint planning. (5 years)
