Job Description
The State of New York is seeking an NG911 Senior Business Analyst with public safety experience and / or prior experience working with NYC government agencies . The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst , with expertise in requirements management, validation, and testing for complex projects.
This role requires close coordination with agencies to develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts , manage requirements verification and traceability , and ensure test procedures comprehensively cover requirements for the NG9-1-1 program . The analyst must effectively communicate project details to stakeholders, including executive leadership, project teams, and agency representatives .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation and execution of the requirements management process , including elicitation, analysis, and verification.
- Validate test cases to ensure they align with the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix .
- Ensure testable and verifiable requirements are met across all test phases of the NG9-1-1 program .
- Validate that test procedures correctly execute their corresponding test cases .
- Provide real-time feedback on test procedures during vendor dry-runs and test execution .
- Effectively communicate project details to clients, project teams, and executive leadership .
- Partner with agencies to develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts .
