Job Description :
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java applications. The role includes database scripting, testing, documentation , and supporting ITSM incidents .
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in multi-tier Java web applications, database design, Oracle PL / SQL development, and front-end technologies .
Responsibilities :
- Develop & maintain Java applications for OPWDD.
- Design & create scripts for Oracle databases.
- Write, test, and optimize queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle.
- Develop front-end and back-end components using JavaServer Faces (JSF) and Java Persistence API (JPA) .
- Implement JavaScript and jQuery for interactive UI components.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed applications.
- Assist with implementation and ITSM incident resolution .
