Founding Story
Our mission is deeply personal for us. Ben Cohen, CTO and Co-Founder grew up helping his father - a general contractor - to apply for hundreds of construction permits. Ben's experiences navigating clunky government websites inspired him to build better solutions for the millions of tradespeople whose livelihoods depend on getting permits fast. Prior to founding GovWell, Ben worked for Uber and Amazon as a Software Engineer, and earned his AB in Computer Science summa cum laude from Princeton.
Troy LeCaire, CEO and Co-Founder, was previously the first employee and Chief of Staff to the CEO at RippleMatch, a software startup, helping it grow from $0 to $10M in annual revenue and a $200M valuation. Before RippleMatch, he worked for two U.S. senators from his home state of Wisconsin. Troy earned his BA in Government magna cum laudefrom Cornell.

Collaborate with customers, customer success managers, and data engineers to understand unique data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and communicate progress in a clear and professional manner.Analyze and validate customer data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for migration into GovWell.Develop a repeatable playbook for performing data discovery, cleaning, and transformation across diverse customer datasets, enabling faster and more efficient migrations.Implement quality assurance processes by designing and running programmatic tests to validate the integrity of data migrations and prevent future issues.Continuously improve migration processes by identifying bottlenecks, proposing optimizations, and exploring opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.Who You Are
1-2 years of experience in data analysis or data migration, ideally within a SaaS or B2B environment.Familiarity with Python or a similar programming language for automating data analysis tasksFluent in writing analytical SQL and can write complex queries to transform, filter, and manipulate customer data.Advanced Excel skills , including the ability to perform complex data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and automation using macros or Power Query for data transformation.Proven experience working with large, complex datasets and executing data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks.Comfort working with data from various sources and understanding of data mapping principles.Ability to communicate technical data issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.Comfort working in a customer-facing role , with a history of collaborating directly with clients to resolve data-related challenges.Our Tech Stack

Compensation within the posted salary band will be commensurate with experience. All offers will include :
