Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities / Inventory Control:
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. This includes physical handling of materials and tracking electronically in ERP system.
- Collaborates and communicates with personnel in multiple departments including QA, Manufacturing, Sales, and Accounting. Communicates externally with suppliers and shipping carriers, as needed.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments (moderate use of MS Excel required)
- Inspects received material for compliance, dimensions, and quality.
- Reviews, audits, and maintains documentation for both receiving and shipping of product.
- Prepares and packages outgoing shipments. Creates shipping documents with shipping software, and maintains relationship with shipping carrier representatives.
- Maintains an accurate daily shipping manifests and shipping records.
- Maintains and Controls Inventory in Stock Room (both raw materials and finished goods). Performs periodic cycle counts of inventory.
- Compiles and kits materials for production work orders.
- Helps in creation/releasing of Work Orders in ERP system.
- Tracks and orders shipping supplies
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Engages with employees, vendors, and drivers with a positive attitude and professional manner.
- Ability to work occasional overtime, if required.
- Provides additional backup support for QA department, if needed.
Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills:
- 4 years of Shipping and Receiving Experience in Manufacturing
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Able to lift materials up to 35 lbs.
This position is not eligible for relocation allowance.

Salary : $39,500 - $49,500
