If you have 2 to 4 years of experience as a paralegal or legal administrative assistant, we?d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, judgments, and statements.
- Act as a key liaison between attorneys and clients, assisting with client interviews.
- Organize trial materials and provide support during hearings and trials.
- Prepare and review discovery packages, including disclosure statements and production requests.
- Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate meetings.
- File court documents, including e-filing in Family Court, state, and federal courts.
- Review financial records such as bank statements.
- Maintain organized filing systems and handled general office tasks.
- Request conflict checks, open new client matters, and submit approvals.
- Utilize software tools such as MS Office, West Law, and Pro Law.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Administrative Assistant.
- A paralegal certificate is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court filings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
