Preferred background/ Education:
- Bachelor/Associate?s degree or Trade School- Engineering, construction, and/or surveying
Requirements/ Expectations:
- 3 years? design and coordination experience
- Revit / Navisworks Manage (knowledge of work-sharing, coordination, and
- modeling)
- AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Fabrication CADMEP, Trimble VDC Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Document Management tools: Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build,
- ACC
- Field experience preferred. Knowledge of fabrication methods and processes
- preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Able to modify documents per Project Manager/Estimators and Fab shop
- personal markups.
- Ability to export to DWG and other formats for collaboration.
- Sketches or models rough layout and computes angles, weights, surface areas,
- dimensions, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes.
- Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics,
- building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
- Follow Revit standards and procedures.
- Participate in Revit/ Fabrication /coordination meetings.
- Assist during project setup.
- Create Spool drawings and coordination documents.
- Lean Construction or Manufacturing understanding.
- Experience in the construction industry.
