Currently, Goyette Mechanical Company has an immediate opening for an Assistant Service Manager for our Columbus Area Service Group.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain good customer relationships
- Meet with customers at their facilities to review and quote their preventative maintenance, break fix, or other needs
- Manage response to emergency calls from the customer
- Maintain a log of all quoted work and emergency calls
- Prepare budgets for awarded work and submit to the accounting department
- Purchase equipment and materials needed to complete awarded work
- Work with the dispatcher to schedule service technicians to complete projects
- Assist service technicians in troubleshooting HVAC equipment
- Notify the accounting team that work is completed so that it can be billed promptly
- Assist the service manager as needed with other tasks
- 10 years of HVAC and/or plumbing service experience including troubleshooting HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Prior Management experience preferred
- Service Titan experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with customers and employees over the phone and in person
- Strong organizational skills are required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on deadlines; excellent time management skills are necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy are highly critical in this role
- Must be able to foster and support a teamwork environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service
- Proven ability to foster a positive and productive safety culture while promoting cooperation and improved morale throughout the division
- This position will based at our Hilliard, OH office and require travel in the greater Columbus area to visit customer facilities
