HVAC Technician

We are a union contractor in the greater Columbus area seeking an HVAC Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to work independently in various environments, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.

Job Description

• Maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in Industrial and Commercial settings
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on heating and cooling equipment
• Conduct repairs on appliances related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
• Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC/R systems repair
• Experience in field service operations related to HVAC technology
• Strong understanding of Hydronic, Heating and Air Conditioning systems and their components
• Ability to plumb and perform necessary adjustments for optimal system performance
• Familiarity with appliance repair techniques as they relate to HVAC systems
• Competence in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
