Landscape Spray Technician

We are seeking a full-time experienced Landscape Spray Technician to join our team. This essential role involves the application of pesticides and herbicides, ensuring the vitality and beauty of landscapes through effective spraying techniques. Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to lawns, gardens, and other designated areas using appropriate equipment while maintaining all safety standards.
• Conduct inspections of treated areas to monitor the effectiveness of applications and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments, including dates, types of products used, and areas treated by completing chemical usage reports.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while handling chemicals, mixing based on label instructions.
• Ensure the safety of company equipment, private property, and others by following proper safety procedures; perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment, identify and report equipment malfunctions, and clean equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.
• Attention to detail and commitment to following safety guidelines; ability to safely use and calibrate spraying equipment.
• Ability to identify weed species, insect damage, and plant and turf varieties.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Current Qualified Applicator License is preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of sprayer repair is desirable.
