Brief Description:
A Final Assembler performs parts and material installation and assembly tasks per written and verbal work instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Performs installations and assemble parts according to special written work instructions, routings, blueprints and verbal directives.
- Cleans, assembles, disassembles and replaces parts as required.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilizations.
- Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operates and maintains shop equipment.
- Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Keeps production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year of related experience.
- Must have experience in the interior and exterior trim installation on trucks, buses or automobiles.
- Manufacturing and/or automotive experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and crawl.
- Regularly life and move up to 10 lbs.; frequently lift and move up to 30 lb.; occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to see and adjust visual focus both up-close and at a distance; position requires peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to see and distinguish colors.

Working Environment:
- Exposure to high-levels of noise.
- May be exposed to caustic fluids and fumes.
- Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots and hardhats.
- Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
- Position may operate a motor vehicle and may work outdoors.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this position will be in the range of $18 to $20 per hour. Qualified candidates will generally work a 40-hour work week. GreenPower offer benefits including health/dental/vision/'prescription drug plan, flexible benefits plan, 401(K) retirement savings plan, life and disability benefits, paid holidays, paid vacation and tuition reimbursement.
