Job Title : Accounting Manager – Manufacturing Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations at our manufacturing facility. This role will manage a small accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and bank reconciliation. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial processes in a manufacturing environment. While CPA certification is not required, a strong background in accounting and financial management is essential. Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and provide guidance to two accountants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
- Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure financial records align with company policies.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and present key insights to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support cost control initiatives and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal financial policies.
- Assist in internal audits and provide recommendations for financial improvements. Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing or overseeing a small accounting team.
- Financial forecasting and budgeting experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
