- Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
- Ensure the job site is compliant with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily inspections of the job site to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates and resolve any challenges.
- Assist in the management of project documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and safety logs.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure quality control and proper sequencing of tasks.
- Identify potential risks or delays and work proactively to mitigate issues.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- 3 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred) or willing to obtain within 6 months.
- A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.
