Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintendent in managing daily on-site construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor project schedules and report progress to the Superintendent.
- Assist in maintaining quality control and ensuring work meets high standards.
- Enforce job site safety policies and conduct safety meetings.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and conflicts to keep the project moving forward.
- 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in federal, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Experience working on federal projects (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
- Ability to travel as needed based on project locations.
