What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at gpac?
A well-established and well-respected firm in California with multiple locations is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their practice. The firm has multiple offices throughout California and would like to add a junior associate to the team. This attorney can work hybrid out of the La Jolla office and the firm has a flexible work environment. If you can work independently but enjoy mentorship and want to grow you practice, this could be a fit for you!
Ideal Candidate :
- 2 years civil litigation defense experience
- Experience with civil defense, product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, or related field
- Experience with written discovery, taking and defending depositions
- Law and motion practice, attending court hearings, legal memos and research
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Admitted in California, in good standing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
