Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of predominantly workers' compensation cases from initial consultation through resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, depositions, and court appearances.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address their concerns.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to offer accurate and effective legal advice.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Illinois.
- 1 to 10 years of experience handling personal injury cases on the plaintiff side.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Illinois legal procedures and regulations in these areas.
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
