This role offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation matters, including professional liability, insurance defense, civil litigation, commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice cases. Key Responsibilities : Independently manage a caseload from inception to resolution. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Take and defend depositions, participate in mediations, and represent clients in court hearings and trials. Provide strategic legal counsel to clients in professional liability and insurance defense matters. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client advocacy. Qualifications : Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington. 3-8 years of experience in professional liability, insurance defense, civil litigation, commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, or legal malpractice. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and courtroom advocacy abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
