Functions
Clinical:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and other diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
- Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Provide one-on-one and group ABA therapy.
- Implement strategies to improve communication, adaptive, social, and daily living skills.
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians in ABA strategies and interventions.
- Conduct performace reviews and competency assessments.
- Conduct parent/caregiver training to reinforce behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
- Maintain open and effective communication with families, schools, and other providers.
Education:
- Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- 2 years experience working as a BCBA in a clinical, school, or home-based setting preferred.
- Experience with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Active BCBA certification in Virginia.
- CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certified.
- Ability to work in home, school, clinic, and/or community.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, speak, kneel, and other physical activities on a regular daily basis.
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, starting at $85,000 per year.
