Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a team of highly motivated staff. Position Responsibilities : - Maintain financial records and documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements. - Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data. - Prepare and process payroll for employees. - Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation. - Collaborate with the team to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvements. Position Essential Job Functions : - Proficiently use accounting software and tools to accurately record and process financial transactions. - Perform data entry and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial information. - Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any accounting-related issues. - Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support. - Stay updated on accounting regulations and maintain compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Include : - 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Associates degree in Accounting. - Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.). - Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
