Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-site, cross-functional teams to develop and implement spend management strategies.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain capabilities, and industry developments to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Select, develop, and manage suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and performance targets.
- Drive supplier negotiations and contract management to optimize total cost of ownership.
- Foster collaboration with key stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans.
- Support lean initiatives and integrate continuous improvement across the supply base.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Mechanical Engineering preferred. APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment with expertise in:
- New product development
- Contract negotiation and supplier management
- Cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
- Cross-functional project leadership
- Supplier consolidation and international sourcing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
