Responsibilities :
- Handle taxes and accounting for the firm
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for the firm using tax software
- Review previous tax returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation
- Conduct tax research and assist with audit preparation
- Ability to understand and apply tax laws and changes in the preparation process
- Maintain and update annually fixed asset list in tax software
- Potential to work closely with financial advisors and clients on tax planning strategies
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
