Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse caseload from inception through completion, including case investigation, legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct client consultations, provide legal advice, and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the case.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and billing records.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Must be in good standing with Pennsylvania Bar Association.
- Experience Civil Defense Litigation, Labor & Employment, Landlord/Tenant, Courtroom experience, Utilities, and/or Mediations, or any combination of these.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws MUST HAVE
- Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced work environment MUST HAVE
- Internally motivated and driven to produce exceptional results.
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability both in and out of the workplace.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle a caseload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
