Job Title : Clinical Psychologist
Location : Palm Beach, Florida
Salary Range : $105,000 - $125,000 annually
Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team in Florida. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation.
Responsibilities
Psychological Assessment :
Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological tests to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Conduct clinical interviews and gather collateral information to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Therapeutic Interventions :
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
Crisis Intervention :
Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing stabilization and de-escalation strategies.
Consultation and Collaboration :
Work closely with medical providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
Training and Education :
Provide training and psychoeducation to clients, families, and staff.
Qualifications
Education :
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Licensure :
Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
Experience :
Minimum of 2-3 years of post-doctoral clinical experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies :
Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
