Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC machinist to join our industrial manufacturing team. As a CNC machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting up and programming CNC machines to produce parts and components to precise specifications
- Operating CNC machines to produce parts and components to the highest level of quality and accuracy
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Communicating with other team members to ensure that all parts and components are produced on time and to the correct specifications
- Keeping detailed records of production and machine usage
- Understand and utilize GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) to complete detailed part inspection.
- Use Mastercam and/or Fusion 360 CNC programs using G-code and M-code for machining operations.
Requirements
- Experience operating and programming CNC machines in an industrial manufacturing setting, 3-5 years preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials
