Job Title : Commercial Construction Estimator
Company Overview : Join a reputable and growth-focused construction company specializing in large-scale commercial projects across various sectors. With a robust pipeline of $10M projects , we are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to bring their expertise to our dynamic team.
Position Overview : The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for ground-up and renovation commercial projects exceeding $10M. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction costs, market trends, and subcontractor coordination.
Construction Estimator Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and bid proposals for diverse commercial projects, including retail, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and scopes to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct material take-offs, labor projections, and subcontractor / vendor bid evaluations.
- Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain and update historical cost databases to improve future estimate accuracy.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and client presentations to represent the company.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks associated with each project.
