Job Description:
This is a unique opportunity to work with our esteemed law firm in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience ranging from 3 to 7 years and a strong background in commercial litigation.
We are seeking mid-level attorneys who can manage complex commercial litigation matters from start to finish. This includes case strategy, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
- The selected candidate will represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents is also a key responsibility, including complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior attorneys in the development of case strategies and legal arguments.
- Participate in client meetings, advising on case developments, strategies, and settlement options.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
- Manage and coordinate discovery efforts, including document review and depositions.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, fostering trust and confidence.
- Provide guidance to junior associates and paralegals as needed.
