Summary of Duties: Responsible for timely and accurate submission of bid packages to sales in response to customer RFQs. Collaborates with Corporate Management team to support near, mid, and long term growth of business operations.
Specific Duties: Collaborates with Supplier Quality Engineer on major accounts, evaluating and quoting new suppliers, including; pricing validity extensions, and strategic partnerships. Integrates labor engineering estimates and material costs. Analyze and submit BOM and labor costs manufacturing engineering, quality, and sales.
Specific Tasks
Required: BS degree or 6 plus years equivalent industry experience. Experience in reading electrical blueprints/specs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Technical understanding of backplane, CCA's, cables/harnesses, boxbuild assembly. Analytical skills to interpret customer requirements then prepare proposal to minimize cost and maximize profit. Advanced skills in WORD and EXCEL.
Requirements: Read, write and understand English. Sitting for long periods of time. Attention to detail. Basic math skills. Able to use keyboard and video display terminal.

Specific Tasks
- Reviews customers' request for quotation ensuring information is complete, e.g., statement of work, quantities, special instructions. .
- Ensures proper manufacturing engineering peer review completed.
- Submits costed BOM for materials manager approval.
- Evaluates the estimated cost vs. actual costs of past production orders and BOM's to reflect data accurately.
- Submits BOM's to QFX which are developed by engineering.
- Prepares CAPA and works with Accounting on its peer review.
- Formulate pricing based on developed material, labor, and NRE costs utilizing appropriate rates.
- Provides periodic won loss metrics with evaluation.
- Work closely with internal organizations such as Purchasing, Engineering, test, manufacturing, etc.
- Work closely with customers on an as needed basis.
- Prepare letters to the customer requesting additional information or documentation clarification
- Create and maintain commodity list of PN's critical to delivery and/or cost driver repeats and new business.
- Provide additional training and guidance to engineering in creation of QFX templates, format, and Excel shortcuts/skills.
- Monthly Activity Report and Metrix.
- Submit PIDs in conducting daily tasks.
- Go Green with paperless processes.
- Responsible for own safety following company and OSHA safety guidelines
