We're seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of earthmoving, construction, trenching, and drilling equipment at customer job sites. What You'll Do
- Maintain and repair mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, aggregate, and diesel systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures using the latest diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs.
- Document all procedures, order parts, and provide time estimates for repairs.
- Complete required technician training classes to sharpen your skills.
- Apply safety best practices while working on equipment in the field.
- 5 years of experience (or equivalent) in heavy equipment repair.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems (including CAN/BUS systems).
- A well-stocked personal toolbox for equipment repairs (we provide specialty tools).
- Basic welding and oxy/acetylene cutting skills.
