Drywall Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the drywall industry? Do you thrive in overseeing large-scale commercial construction projects and delivering exceptional results? If so, we want you to join our team!

We're looking for a Metal Stud & Drywall Project Manager to lead and manage commercial drywall projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of experience working directly with drywall sub-contractors and an in-depth understanding of the drywall industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project timelines, define key milestones, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and manage budgets to prevent cost overruns.
• Hire, supervise, and mentor drywall contractors and laborers, ensuring optimal performance and efficient project execution.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and other contractors, addressing their needs and concerns as they arise.
• Oversee material procurement and delivery, ensuring everything arrives on time and in the correct quantities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work meets the project's specifications and industry standards.
• Enforce safety protocols on-site and conduct regular safety meetings to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Quickly identify and resolve issues to prevent delays, keeping the project on track and within scope.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure successful project completion, addressing any punch list items and handling any scope, cost, or timeline adjustments.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction with the final project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing drywall projects in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of drywall and metal stud systems, as well as related materials
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
