Job Description
Gpac has partnered with an Agriculture company who is a leading merchant and processor of agricultural goods who is seeking a Electrician Journeyman . The in-house Electrician Journeyman will assist multiple elevators and other locations with electrical breakdowns, new construction, and preventive maintenance through out the area and in other states as needed.
Job Description
This position is responsible for the electrical repair, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks on all the equipment and buildings owned, leased, and operated.
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Maintains and repairs operating equipment, including removal, installation, rebuilding and cleaning of all electrical equipment associated with the production process.
- Works with plant operations to accomplish all tasks in a timely and safe manner.
- Notifies Managers of any production, maintenance, or safety problems.
- Performs basic instrument replacement and basic electrical work.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of the electrical systems including, but not limited to, variable speed drives, motors and motor control equipment, and related equipment.
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, controls and other electrical components for machines and equipment.
- Install and maintain light fixtures and related equipment.
- Completes work orders on all work performed.
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks for equipment and facility in accordance with manufacturer's and / or engineering guidelines.
- Perform any additional duties or tasks assigned by management.
