What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Benefits Attorney position at GPAC?
A dynamic law firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Employee Benefits Attorney for the firm’s Rochester, Buffalo or Albany office.
Remote arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience with Employee Benefits law
- Preferred candidates will have experience with all areas of employee benefits, including but not limited to, ERISA, the design, establishment, maintenance and operations of various retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans, and knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in state and in good standing
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Enthusiasm for client service and initiative are essential
