Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in conducting geological and environmental assessments, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from site assessments and remediation to environmental impact studies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments.
- Perform hydrogeologic evaluations, soil, and groundwater contamination assessments.
- Develop and implement remediation plans for contaminated sites.
- Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and geological mapping.
- Prepare technical reports, environmental impact statements, and compliance documents.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and project management.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA).
- Provide expert advice on geological and environmental matters to support client decision-making.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
