Structural Steel Estimator
Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Estimator to join our commercial construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in estimating for structural steel projects, with a strong proficiency in OnCenter software and Bluebeam.
This role will require you to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, analyze project specifications, and collaborate with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects.
- Utilize OnCenter software and Bluebeam for take-offs and bid preparation.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to refine estimates and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and secure accurate quotes.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a structural steel estimator in commercial construction.
- Proficient in OnCenter software and Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Salary Range :
$90,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
