What You'll Do
- Review blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare estimates.
- Attend pre-bid walkthroughs when necessary.
- Interpret painting, fireproofing, and floor coating scopes and perform takeoffs using specialized software.
- Generate detailed proposals based on project scope and client needs.
- Maintain bid follow-up lists and ensure timely tracking.
- Review material specifications and source pricing from vendors.
- 2 years of experience in blueprint estimating or relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency with takeoff software.
- Strong PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications.
- Reliable and eager to learn.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs.
- A team player with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
