What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Compliance Auditor position at Gpac?
Gpac is currently working with a national food manufacturer in western Kentucky who is seeking a Facility Compliance Auditor. This is a new role for the company and will be responsible for ensuring that food production facilities, systems, and processes comply with health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
Responsibilities include :
- Responsible for audit scheduling, preparation and execution for all audits conducted at the plant / copackers / warehouse including GFSI, customer and corporate company audits
- Ensure compliance with all Corporate QA Policies and Procedures and all customer specific program and document requirements
- Ensure compliance with all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls
- Ensure compliance to USDA / FDA regulations.
- Audit Food Safety, Quality & HACCP programs for compliance
- Identify gaps and coordinate corrective action initiatives for findings and non-conformances
