What You'll Do As a Formulating Chemist
- Lead the charge in crafting innovative products, with a deep understanding of EPA registration procedures.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with cutting-edge advancements in technology and evolving regulations.
- Apply your knowledge of FDA guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices to create safe and effective products.
- Use your creative problem-solving skills to develop, test, and refine new compounds and formulas.
- Recommend improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Draft detailed lab reports, maintain precise documentation, and mentor your team in professional standards.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to bring products to life.
- Manage laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and keep operations running smoothly.
- Develop and share standard operating procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Champion environmental health and safety standards, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemical agents.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills that shine in a dynamic lab environment.
- A knack for communicating complex ideas effectively with colleagues, sales teams, and customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for creating clear, professional laboratory reports.
- A thorough understanding of chemical processes and testing techniques.
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (Master's degree is a bonus!).
- A minimum of three years' experience as a formulary chemist, with a proven track record of success.
