Here at gpac we are working with wonderful non profit organizations who ask us for help in finding a new Fundraising Assistants to join their wonderful teams. The Fundraising Assistant position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about assisting all aspects of fundraising within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with the fundraising initiatives by providing assistance in the fundraising initiatives for the organization, as well as strategic planning in support of its mission and goals.
- Work closely with the fundraising directors on various fundraising projects.
- Serve as the community liaison and spokesperson for the organization in the city or geographic areas served by the organization.
- Assists staff in carrying out the key roles and responsibilities to deliver high quality program services.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to develop, organize and facilitate successful resource development and marketing strategies, including annual fundraising events and campaigns, grants, donations, and program related income.
- Ability to assist the organization in developing new and innovative program services to best address the ever-changing needs of the organization and the community.
- At least five years of prior experience in a nonprofit organization.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
