What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Truck Mechanic position at GPAC?
We are working with a major retail heavy truck repair company iwho is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and diagnose repair needs
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Repair heavy trucks - mechanical, electrical systems, and drive train.
- Fabricating, welding, and building aftermarket upgrades as needed
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fuels, fluids, and lubrication
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial hydraulic, electrical, air and water systems
- Perform and document inspections
- Follow all company and industry regulations and rules
- Occasional field service work
