Responsibilities & Qualifications
As an Insurance Coverage Attorney, your role will include:
- Analyzing insurance policies and preparing detailed coverage opinions
- Representing clients-both policyholders and insurers-in complex coverage litigation
- Handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and pleadings
- Advising clients on risk and claim strategy
- Managing files independently and working collaboratively with legal teams
- J.D. and active Texas bar license
- Minimum 4 years of experience in insurance coverage and litigation
- Excellent legal research, writing, and courtroom skills
- Experience with both first-party property insurance coverage and bad faith litigation is preferred.
