Key Responsibilities
- Phone Handling: Answer, screen, and direct calls with professionalism.
- Mail and Correspondence: Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Dictation & Transcription: Accurately capture legal and administrative notes.
- Scheduling: Coordinate depositions, mediations, and appointments.
- File Management: Maintain both digital (via OneDrive, SharePoint) and physical files.
- Technology Tools: Utilize Microsoft Office 360, Microsoft Teams, CRM, and Caret Legal.
- Data Entry & Billing: Update records, track billable hours, and assist with invoicing.
- General Support: Provide additional administrative assistance to attorneys and staff.
- Reliability with consistent punctuality and a proactive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Preferred experience with OneDrive, SharePoint, CRM, and Caret Legal.
- Minimum of 2 years in a secretarial or administrative role (training available for the right candidate).
- Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $25, based on experience.
