About the Role
The Director of Nursing will play a pivotal role in shaping the nursing department's culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management.
- Development, implementation, and enforcement of nursing policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conducting ongoing staff education and training to maintain competency and enhance patient care.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing leadership, including at least 2 years in a Director of Nursing or equivalent role.
- Proven track record of success in leading, motivating, and developing nursing staff.
- A strong understanding of nursing policies, procedures, and regulations.
