What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at GPAC?
Operations Manager
Do you have a history in construction & home improvement? It is important that you have experience in managing in a carpentry / manufacturing setting. You would be overseeing the experienced crew in the countertop plant, overseeing and participating in manufacturing activities. As the Operations Manager , you would lead the team by example, set standards, and provide clear consistent guidance to meet goals and objectives.
Using an experienced, keen business sense, the Operations Manager sets the schedules and ensures top notch customer service. Knowledge of planning and management is a critical requirement of this role.
The ideal candidate should have experience and qualifications equivalent to :
- Five years position-related experience successfully managing a carpentry / manufacturing related setting (construction and / or building materials career experience is ideal)
- Proven ability to successfully plan and execute a manufacturing / sales operation
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience managing a staff of 10 or more including responsibility for hiring, training, and monitoring performance
- Must be technology savvy – proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite; Teams, and Excel
- Strong English language and written and oral communication skills
